Happy New Year!

Hi Everybody

I hope you are all enjoying December the 31st. December flew this year. It might have been because I have been having so much fun! It has all been about Mini Books for Christmas. Yes I have more to add! I hope you are not getting sick of them - I will try some different things in the New Year - but these little books are so addictive.

This is a Mini Book I made for my niece Zoe - she loves stickers - can you tell?

Every girl needs an extra little book full of stickers!

Link to the video description of the book

I am unable to locate the tutorial on how I made the page, so I have included one - this is so easy to make - I hope you give it a try too!!

Thanks for visiting - and a huge Thanks to my subscribers!!! I cannot believe I have subscribers xxxMichelle

Another One!

Yes - I made a lot of albums in the last couple of months.

This is a mini album I made using the Tim Holtz die - Baroque, and the paper line DCWV La Creme Stack. I created lots of tags, as the album is small, but very cute!

I created the flower using the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die - love it!

I used black elastic to create space for extra tags, a little book, and extra photos if needed.
I love the Black and creme theme of the paper.
Hope you like it too!

Christmas Presents - Photo Albums

These are three of the Photo Albums made for friends of my daughters. She put photos in them before giving them to her friends, and they were kept very lightly embellished.

Going Green

This album was created from an envelope base, and joined with paper hinges. The paper used is from My Minds Eye - Girl 2009.

Purple Reigns Supreme!

This album is also created from an envelope base adn uses the MME Girl 2009 paper collection.

Pretty in Pink

This album is created from a tutorial from Lake Avenue Designs on you tube. The papers used are from MME Girl 2009, and a very old paper line from my cupboard ( I don't want to tell you how long it has been there waiting until I figured out what to do with it!)

The girls all loved their albums and I hope they will have fun filling them with photos.

Christmas Presents finished in time!

T
This is the Mini I made for my 18 month old nephew. It measures 61/4 by 61/4", and features paper by Websters Pages, MME boy 2009, and Prima Londonerry.

This is the foldout spelling out his name - with space left for photos or images to match the letters.

The pages are numbered 1 - 10, hopefully he will enjoy learning !

Animals pop up in various places

Behind the number 10, is a pocket that folds open three ways to reveal secret pages and hidden photos in the future

James is a bit young to understand yet, but I hope his Mum and Dad liked it!!
This was such a fun book to make, I used a Kraft card to create the pocket, and included large 6 x 6"
tags in each of the 5 pages.
Hope you enjoy it too! and hope you all had a Fabulous Christmas.

Hope you enjoy it!!

Happy Birthday Aunty Susan

This is the Toilet Paper Roll Mini (my first - but not last!) I made using MME Union Square Papers - So gorgeous!

If you would like to know how to make one, please leave me a message - I would be happy to help.

There are tags for photos in each of the 5 pages.

I love the charm I made for this - it is hiding behind the red ribbon!

A video will be loaded tomorrow on my you tube channel ThePaperAddiction - love to see you there!!

I have been busy with Christmas projects and will be loading those over the next 10 days - some will have to wait till Boxing day - so it doesn't ruin the surprise!

Thanks for visiting
xx Michelle

Happy Birthday Mum

I finished the mini album, I have been working on for some time. This has been a secret project - as my Mum reads my blog - Hi Mum!
I cut the deadline a bit close, as the binding I was planning went wrong. Originally the plan was to bind with hair ties, but the ties I used were too thick and the album didn't move well. My solution was to use elastic (tea dyed to match the album) and thread through like a shoe lace. I like the end result better, as it was my own idea!
Lots of photos to follow. The album is 6" by 7", I made the base out of kraft cardboard, to include a side pocket in every page, and added cream pearlescent envelpoes to create the extra pockets and fold outs. Lots of tags and lovely embellishments.
If you would like to know how I made anything, please send a message - I would be happy to help.

A Youtube video of the album will be loaded shortly. My film assistant is working on it now. (The gorgeous Ethan!)
