P.S. If you notice a change in the look of my blog that is because of one of my major failings - patience. I was showing my son the changes to the blog home page and showed him what I wanted - when I pushed a button ... he yelled Nooooo...but it was too late. I had changed it to this format - How - Why - What???? Now I have to figure out how to get my background back...it might take a while. Lesson learnt.
I hope you have better luck with technology than I do!!

What was I thinking?

In a moment of madness I thought it would be a fabulous idea to tidy up my favourite space. The mess was getting to me, and I was using it as an excuse for my lack of completion of my list of projects. No problem, just an hour to tidy up ....right??? Wrong!!

 And this is right now! I had to take the picture really quickly because I am afraid it will not look like this for long!

(sorry for the glare - it is a very overcast day here in Wellington, NZ. )

And here is a few of the books I have plans for.... I am loving altered books.

Now it is Sunday afternooon, and it is Mothers Day. I have spent so much time organizing and arranging I have run out of time to play!!

I hope my Mum likes her present I haven't managed to make the card yet!!

Finally figured out Bloggie!!

Hi Everyone

My new camera the Sony Bloggie has been giving me a headache, Youtube has been rejecting my videos. The error message - Youtube supplied an invalid response has been haunting me! If you or someone you know is having the same problem, save your videos to your computer and upload them direct. Super fast, 10 minutes fast - I couldn't believe it after all the time I kept perservering with the Bloggie software.

My first video is of three mini albums I made with a base of old childrens board books. They make a great base and once they are covered, they look like new! Great for the budget and excellent recycling!
These minis are all sold - Woo Hoo!

The next video shows a Birthday Card book. I love this idea - it is a great way to save all those treasured birthday cards. It is really easy to make and it is a Fabulous present.

Jennibellie also uses old cards that are gessoed and painted to create home made art journals - super cute idea and you know I love to recycle Junk!!
